These tiles are inspired from the traditional Talavera tiles from Puebla. The pattern is made using a stencil. Mexican white is the background colour and a green, blue or terracotta glaze forms the pattern in the foreground. The patterned tiles can be mixed with Mexican white tile, terracotta, cobalt blue, claro green or Mexican green for a subtler look.
